University Hospital Zurich (USZ) has responded rapidly to the coronavirus pandemic, constantly adapting its resources for testing and treating patients to the situation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, doctors and nurses at USZ have been putting in exceptional efforts. The hospital can also count on the support of medical students and volunteers for help with tackling coronavirus. Besides treatment, doctors are involved in research into new COVID-19 therapies. Around 30 research projects are currently running at USZ.

In this unprecedented situation, University Hospital Zurich has witnessed a wave of solidarity. Many thanks to all who have expressed their gratitude to USZ with a donation to the USZ Corona Solidarity Fund!

How your donation helps:

– Reducing the burden on doctors and nurses
– Safeguarding and supporting patients
– Research into COVID-19, including Long-COVID
– Research on intensive care medicine, hospital hygiene, and immunology

The money from the USZ Corona Solidarity Fund will be distributed quickly and unbureaucratically in consultation with USZ management.
