Novartis Research Foundation’s FreeNovation program funds unconventional projects with the potential to permanently alter the course of biomedical research. In the course of the 2021 tender, eight projects were chosen by a prestigious international panel. Those selected for funding include Annika Keller, Ph.D., Senior Researcher at the USZ Department of Neurosurgery, with a project entitled “Fibrillar collagen deposition and degradation in brain – the role of glia.” We would like to warmly congratulate Annika Keller and wish her every success in completing her project. The FreeNovation program is promoted by the USZ Foundation at University Hospital Zurich.
