Heart experts in Zurich

The University Hospital Zurich Foundation supports the research done by cardiologist Firat Duru at University Hospital Zurich. Duru is an expert in a heart disease called arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, ARVC for short. He and his colleague Corinna Brunckhorst are inviting fellow experts to USZ for the Zurich International Symposium on Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathies on 26 and 27 September 2019.

The symposium, the world’s largest gathering devoted to ARVC, will bring top experts in the field to Zurich from all over the globe. The event will also include the announcement of the Zurich ARVC Research Award for the best pure and clinical scientific research in the field of ARVC. This prize is worth CHF 30,000. Researchers can apply by 15 August 2019 to: arvc@usz.ch
